To kick off the 1st season we are holding an Online League where we will give a way seats to the WPT Championship held in Las Vegas at the Wynn during December.
As a member of the Royal Rebels league, you will participate in 7 online games earning points that will send the top in points to the 2024 WPT championship. These winners will be representing the entire group and bringing back 20% of any winnings to be distributed equally among the group (paid players).
Should you not be able to fulfill your commitment to play your winning seat, you may sell the seat to any Royal Rebels player that played in the league. If a league player is not found then you may open it up to anyone in the Royal Rebels private club even if they didn’t play in the league event. If you are unable to find someone to purchase your seat then the prizes will be moved down to the player with the next highest accumulated points total. For example, if you win first place, and can’t sell or play the seat, then it is forfeited to the 2nd place person. Their prize then moves to the 3rd place and so on. NO REFUNDS of entry fees will be allowed if you can’t play your seat. This is a commitment

Satellites for seats into the League:
We will be holding satellites into the league on the following dates: Sept 18th, 19th, 25th & 26th.
The buy in is $50 and the payout will be $400 for every 8 players. The $400 must be used toward the entry to the WPT staking league starting October 3rd. If you win a seat and choose to play again, you may sell the seat to another player, but it can ONLY be used for the staking league. For example, if you won a seat and want to play again and win again, you may sell a seat (or donate) to another Royal Rebels league member. The league member who purchases your seat can only use it towards the WPT League.
How to determine a winner/ how do you earn points each week?
Each week points are assigned based on your finish in the tournament. Points will be awarded as you go out. The first player out will receive 1 point, second player 2 points, and so on. In the event of a tie, the player with the most “natural” wins (1st place by player and not a sub) will win that prize. If they both have a first-place win, how many second places and so on until the tie is broken.

Substitute Players
We will allow 1 sub during the league series. In the event you can’t play a week, you will need to notify us with your sub in advance. They must be a female player and they will need to log in under your PokerStars account. If you have to miss another tournament then you will be given 1 point for that week. If multiple players miss then each player will be given 1pt. All subsequent points will be allocated according to missed players. For example, if 3 players miss a week then each of those players will be assigned 1pt. The next player who goes out would be assigned 4pts.
Drop Scores
We are going to allow each member to drop their lowest score. At the end of the 7 weeks, we will look at everyone’s scores and drop the lowest automatically.
Costs
League participation will be made up of the staking contribution only. The entry fee is a total of $400.00 per player which covers the entire 7-week season.
Payment & Options to pay
Payment for the satellites should be sent to Deb Balderas by the start of each game. If you are not paid ahead of time, you will NOT be allowed to play in other events. This is a strict rule!

Failure to pay and fill out all other forms means you will be instantly kicked out of the Poker Stars game and removed/suspended from our game. Staking Prizes –
WE are guaranteeing ONE WPT Main Event Seat!! (valued at $10,400). If we have 26 players enter the league to play then that will be enough to cover the seat. However, if we only have 10 ladies enter the online tournament the founders will donate the remaining portion needed for the seat. If we have more than 26 buy-ins then all league money will go back to the players in the form of a tournament buy-in. For every 30 players we get entered into the league the founders will donate a $1,100 WPT ladies’ seat. Here is a good example of what we are awarding.
With 14 players entering the league we would give away:
1st Place - $10,400 seat to the WPT Main Event = $5,600 (founders pick up the remaining $4,800)
NO other seats awarded.
With 32 players entering the league we would give away:
1st Place - $10,400 seat to the WPT Main Event
2nd Place - $1,100 seat to the WPT Ladies Championship
3rd Place - $1,100 seat to the WPT Ladies Championship (sponsored by founders since 30 ladies participated
4th Place - $500 Cash Prize
Weekly Prizes –
Weekly winners will also get a fabulous prize from our Royal Rebels store handpicked by one of our founders each week.
Taxes and Expenses
If our staking winners’ cash, there is a possibility you will receive a 1099 from the WPT. If you are part of the players share, please note that we will be deducting 20% from the players winnings since they may be taxed from the IRS. If it is a substantial amount, we will consult a Tax professional for more information. Your share would be divided amongst the remaining players after the taxes are deducted. Please note, if it is a substantial amount, you could receive a 1099 as well. We will determine what is the best way to proceed after a tax consultation.
Early Registration:
Early registration is open now through 9/26. Players that are registered, paid, signed the commitment and code of conduct by 9/26 will receive a free Royal Rebels t-shirt.
Late Registration:
Late registration will extend through 10/8. It is okay to miss the first game! The lowest score of each player will be dropped for final tabulation.
Online Play – Structure
As stated, the online league games and satellite’s will be played on PokerStars. Please download the app and once you have committed to play, paid your entry fee, and signed the player commitment form and code of conduct, we will get you started on our Home Game. Having games on PokerStars makes us very limited to the structure. The structure can be found on the League Agreement and Commitment Form. Next steps would be to click on the Royal Rebels 2024 WPT League Agreement and Commitment Form and initial and sign where necessary.
